About the character: Iona was a very creative girl she liked art and birds. She lived in a small house with her grandad. She started off on Callum’s bad side they started to form a very close relationship through wildlife. Callums friends did not like Iona. she kept a secret from  Callum for a while.

About the charater: callum is a very nice kind boy. He lives on a farm with his parents. Theres a secret on the farm that callum and iona are not going to share with his friends .He loves nature and wildlife.  iona and callum were friends at first but then they became bestfriends. They kept a secret from callums friends .

Hello, our names are Aoife, Ciara and Rosalinda .We are working on a project about Gill Lewis’ book “Sky Hawk” in English Class in school.The book is about a girl and a boy from Scotland who have a love for nature. They have a secret about Calums farm and will do everything to protect it. They story has many twists and almosts turns the pages for you.

The process of the project took a while. We did a lot of research about Gill Lewis herself. We watched interviews about her on youtube in class.  We watched sky hawk the musical. It is an all class project and this is our part . We have people doing book reviews and other people doing projects on Scotland , Gambia and birds . We have lots of pretty art work drawn by other pupils . we had lots of fun in the making of the project. The Final project will be displayed in the local library .
